This SEO Disclaimer applies to all search engine optimisation services provided by AI Takes Axion Ltd, including the Local SEO and Full SEO plans and any Google Business Profile work carried out under them. By engaging our SEO services, you acknowledge and accept the terms set out in this Disclaimer.

Critical: Please Read Carefully

No ethical SEO provider can guarantee specific search engine rankings. Any provider that does is misrepresenting the nature of SEO.

No Guarantee of Rankings

The Company does not guarantee:

That your website will appear at any specific position in search engine results
That your website will rank for any specific keyword or search term
That your website will rank on the first page of Google or any other search engine
That rankings achieved will be maintained indefinitely
That SEO activity will result in a specific volume of traffic, leads, or revenue

Search engine rankings are determined by complex, proprietary algorithms operated by search engines. These algorithms are not controlled by or accessible to the Company.

Algorithm Updates

Search engines including Google regularly update their ranking algorithms. These updates can significantly affect a website's rankings positively or negatively, regardless of the quality of SEO work carried out.

The Company is not responsible for ranking fluctuations or losses caused by algorithm updates. Where rankings are negatively affected, the Company will review the situation and adapt the strategy accordingly, but cannot guarantee recovery within any specific timeframe.

Realistic Timeframes

SEO is a long-term strategy. Results are not immediate. Realistic expectations:

0 to 3 months: foundational work. Technical SEO fixes, on-page optimisation, Google Business Profile setup, and the start of citation building. Rankings may not show measurable change during this period.
3 to 6 months: early results. Initial keyword movement and improvements in visibility may begin to appear for lower-competition terms.
6 to 12 months: meaningful traction. More consistent ranking improvements and measurable traffic increases are typically seen in this period.
12 months and beyond: compounding results. Consistent effort over 12 months typically produces significantly better results than short-term activity.

Please Note

Requesting refunds or terminating SEO services within the first three to six months on the basis that results have not been achieved is inconsistent with the nature of SEO and does not constitute grounds for a refund.

Local SEO & Google Business Profile

On the Local SEO and Full SEO plans, the Company sets up and manages the client's Google Business Profile and business listings on an ongoing basis. This includes publishing posts, photographs, and updates to the profile on a regular schedule, keeping listing information consistent, and monitoring for changes.

Access & Ownership

This work requires manager-level access to the client's profile, which the client provides. The profile remains the client's property throughout, and Company access is removed within 14 days of termination.

Citations

Core listings are built and verified by hand. Wider directory listings are submitted through a third-party citation service. Some directories take weeks or months to publish a submission, some reject listings without giving a reason, and some overwrite data from their own aggregator sources. The Company checks for this drift on a scheduled basis but cannot prevent it.

Platform Dependency

Outside Our Control

Google Business Profile is a third-party service governed by Google's own terms, which can change without notice. Profile suspensions, listing removals, duplicate merges, and Google-suggested edits are outside the Company's control. The Company will work to resolve them, but cannot guarantee an outcome or a timescale, and reinstatement is decided by Google alone.

Reviews

The Company does not write, buy, incentivise, or otherwise manipulate reviews, as this breaches Google's policies and risks the client's profile. The Company may help the client ask genuine customers for reviews and may draft responses for approval. Review volume and sentiment are not within the Company's control.

Competitor Activity

Your search rankings are affected not only by our SEO work but also by competitor activity. If competitors increase their SEO investment, your relative rankings may shift. The Company cannot control competitor behaviour and is not responsible for changes caused by it.

Client Actions Affecting SEO

The effectiveness of SEO services is directly affected by the client's actions. The following may negatively impact performance:

Making changes to the website without notifying the Company
Deleting pages or changing URL structures without prior discussion
Failing to publish agreed content in a timely manner
Using third-party services that conflict with the SEO strategy

The Company is not responsible for ranking losses caused by the client's own actions.

While we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, we commit to:

Carrying out all agreed SEO activities to a professional standard
Using ethical, white-hat techniques that comply with search engine guidelines
Providing monthly reporting on keyword positions, traffic, and work completed
Adapting the strategy in response to algorithm updates and performance data
Being transparent about what is and is not working

By engaging our SEO services, you confirm that you have read and understood this Disclaimer, accept that SEO results cannot be guaranteed, and agree not to hold the Company liable for ranking fluctuations or the absence of specific results.
